Squirrels Crack Me Up

squirrel at Union SquareThere’s something about squirrels cracks me up. Their quick, frantic jittery reaction to sound reminds of Peanut’s reaction when my apartment’s buzzer is rang. It’s a loud annoying sound and Peanut runs around like a spaz. It’s rather fun sneaking up on them, and getting a few shots off before they start running up a tree in an odd winding pattern.

To Beard or Not to Beard

Simon and Peanut at the PathIn the 29 years of my existence, I have never been able to successfully grow a beard. It grows in patches and fills up slowly. After a week it begins to itch and I end up looking homeless. Growing up in Poland, I remember the Chernobyl power plant disaster. Pisz, a small city that I grew up in was completely engulfed in this odd white powder. It literally looked like it was snowing in late spring. I remember waiting in line at the hospital, which handed out small plastic container filled with a red-ish colored medicine. My mom made me drink seconds. From what I remember, it tasted like cherry-flavored Robitussin; Absolutely disgusting.

Hoboken Night out at Zafra and The W hotel

Angela at the WAfter resting up from a mild afternoon with Peanut, Natalie and I set out to enjoy a night out in Hoboken for our friend’s birthday. Best drinks in Hoboken are at Zafra; A Cuban restaurant with the best Mojitos and Sangria in Hoboken. You bring the rum and wine, they supply the ingredients. It’s a norm here in Hoboken, a city with not enough liquor licenses to go around. Hoboken has the largest concentration of bars and restaurants per square capita then any other city in the US.

After purchasing Macromedia, the makers of Flash, Dreamweaver, Director, and Fireworks, Adobe abandoned GoLive and focused on future development of Dreamweaver and merged it into it’s CS series.
