Hoboken Night out at Zafra and The W hotel
After resting up from a mild afternoon with Peanut, Natalie and I set out to enjoy a night out in Hoboken for our friend’s birthday. Best drinks in Hoboken are at Zafra; A Cuban restaurant with the best Mojitos and Sangria in Hoboken. You bring the rum and wine, they supply the ingredients. It’s a norm here in Hoboken, a city with not enough liquor licenses to go around. Hoboken has the largest concentration of bars and restaurants per square capita then any other city in the US.
The shit show that followed, all documented with paparazzi of cameras is probably too much to post on here. Not enough ink in my printer to start printing out disclaimer forms. The W Hotel, where we ended up next, was pretty disappointing at best. I wasn’t a fan of the exterior ever since they began construction.
Inside the W, the crowd resembled the usual Bridge and Tunnel crowd you find in has-been hotspots in the city. In any case, we ended up making a night of inside the W with all our cameras concentrated at Angela, the birthday girl, who unleashed a photo-shoot inside the hotel’s lounge. After proceeding to the hotel’s reception area and setting up additional drunk infested group shots, we were eventually asked to leave. Having lost a few people to the late night, we proceeded back to Angela’s place where we settled on the infamous yet familiar couch.
