Natalie and Simon dot com
Began working on some comps late last night on our wedding site NatalieandSimon.com. I’m still not 100% clear on what direction I’ll take; I definitely want to challenge myself and not fall victim to just making a typical wedding site. At the same time, I don’t want to give in and just use flash. I prefer to utilize flash for accents on my web projects rather then building a 100% flash interfaces. To me flash sites become obsolete a lot quicker.
iPhone of 2007 and iPhone 3.0
On June 28th, 2007 my mom and I got up early in the morning, packed our laptops, water, beach chairs, and met up at the Apple SOHO store in the city. We arrived to find the line already formed for people just like us waiting for the release of the iPhone the following morning. Both of us have never done anything like this before and given that I just convinced my mom to by some shares in Apple, romanticized to her in following technology news, I did not need to twist her arm to come along with me and share in the experience.

San Francisco
It’s been nearly 2 years since I’ve taken a long trip someplace that wasn’t composed of my security blanket of an east coast. I don’t have a fear of flying. In fact, I get a thrill of waking up early in the morning, getting to the airport and unwinding on a plane with an alcoholic beverage in my hand. The idea of getting as far away from home and traveling someplace new gives with good anxiety.
